Leo Solar Eclipse Ritual
Crossing the Threshold
A Ritual for the Leo Solar Eclipse & Lion's Gate
Featuring Lincoln's Heritage Rose
As we stand beneath the Lion's Gate and prepare for the Leo Solar Eclipse, we are invited into a season of new beginnings.
Eclipses often mark moments of transition. Some changes are visible immediately, while others unfold quietly over the months ahead. Rather than trying to predict exactly what will happen, this ritual invites us to meet eclipse season with presence, curiosity, and an open heart.
Our companion for this journey is Lincoln's Heritage Rose, lovingly grown, harvested, and dried here on the farm. Rose has accompanied humanity for thousands of years as both medicine and ritual, reminding us that beauty itself can become a pathway to healing.
Take your time with this ritual. There is no right or wrong way to move through it.
What You'll Need
A quiet space
A candle
A journal and pen
A cup of Lincoln's Heritage Rose tea
A small amount of Lincoln's Heritage Rose ritual incense
Matches or a charcoal disc if burning incense
(Optional for Premium Members) Your crystal sphere
Step One
Prepare Your Space
Begin by lighting your candle.
Take several slow breaths.
Allow yourself to arrive fully.
If you wish, gently burn a small pinch of your rose incense.
Notice how the fragrance changes the atmosphere of the room.
Rather than trying to create a dramatic experience, simply allow the scent to become an invitation to slow down.
As the fragrance rises, silently say:
I open myself to this new beginning.
May I walk through this season with courage, wisdom, and an open heart.
Pause for several quiet breaths.
Step Two
Receive the Rose
Prepare a warm cup of Lincoln's Heritage Rose tea.
Before taking your first sip, hold the cup between your hands.
Notice its warmth.
Notice its fragrance.
Notice its color.
Remember that these petals were once flowers growing in the summer sun.
Now they become nourishment.
Take your first sip slowly.
Allow yourself to receive the plant with gratitude.
As you drink, reflect upon this question:
What new beginning is quietly asking for my attention?
There is no need to force an answer.
Simply notice whatever arises.
Step Three
A New Perspective
(Optional Crystal Sphere)
If you received the crystal sphere, hold it gently in your hand.
Notice how it changes your perspective.
Objects appear different when viewed through the sphere.
The world hasn't changed.
Only the way you're seeing it.
Eclipses often work in much the same way.
They don't always create something entirely new.
Sometimes they simply reveal what has been waiting to be seen.
As you hold the sphere, ask yourself:
Where am I being invited to see my life differently?
Allow your answer to arise naturally.
Step Four
Journal
Spend a few quiet moments reflecting on the following questions.
Write freely.
There are no right answers.
What part of my life feels ready for a new beginning?
Where am I being invited to lead with my heart?
What wants to be expressed more fully?
What perspective am I ready to release?
What am I willing to trust, even if I cannot yet see the whole path?
Allow your writing to become a conversation with yourself.
Step Five
Offer Your Intention
Take another sip of your rose tea.
If your incense is still gently burning, watch the smoke rise.
Imagine your intention rising with it.
Silently repeat:
May I meet this eclipse season with an open heart.
May I trust what is unfolding.
May I have the courage to become more fully myself.
Remain in silence for several moments.
Living the Practice This Week and Next
Each day over the coming two weeks, prepare a cup of Lincoln's Heritage Rose tea whenever possible.
You don't need to perform the entire ritual each time.
Instead, simply pause before your first sip and ask yourself:
What is asking to bloom in my life today?
Allow your answer to guide one small act of courage.
It might be a conversation.
A creative project.
A quiet moment of rest.
An act of generosity.
Or simply choosing to remain open when life feels uncertain.
If you feel called, light a small amount of your rose incense once or twice during the week as a reminder to return to yourself.
If you have your crystal sphere nearby, hold it whenever you notice yourself becoming overwhelmed or uncertain. Let it remind you that transformation often begins with a new way of seeing.
Closing Blessing
As this ritual comes to an end, offer gratitude:
To the Sun.
To the Moon.
To the stars that have guided humanity for generations.
To Lincoln's Heritage Rose.
To the wisdom of the Earth.
And finally…
to yourself,
for saying yes to this moment of reflection.
May the Lion's Gate open your heart.
May the Solar Eclipse illuminate your path.
May the rose remind you that beauty, courage, and tenderness can walk together.
And may you step into this new season with trust in the journey that is unfolding before you.
Love and Blessings,
Lisa Marie
