Learning Astrology: Where to Begin
Astrology can feel overwhelming at first.
There are symbols, signs, planets, aspects, houses — layers upon layers of meaning that can seem difficult to organize or fully understand. And especially now, as we move through significant shifts like Uranus entering Gemini — a transit that accelerates information, communication, and new ways of thinking — it can feel as though there is even more to take in, more to learn, more to make sense of.
But astrology is not something you are meant to master all at once.
It is something you learn in layers.
At its foundation, astrology is a structured system — one that builds upon itself in a way that is both logical and intuitive. When you begin with the basics and allow your understanding to develop over time, what once felt complex begins to organize itself. The chart becomes readable. The symbols begin to speak.
You do not need to know everything to begin.
In fact, trying to do so often creates more confusion than clarity. What creates confidence in astrology is not having all the answers, but having a clear foundation — an understanding of how the core components work together. From there, your insight deepens naturally, and your ability to interpret what you are seeing becomes more grounded and reliable.
This is especially important in a time like this, where so many people feel the intensity of change but may not yet have the language to understand it. Astrology offers that language — not to overwhelm you further, but to orient you. To help you recognize that what you are experiencing is part of a larger pattern, one that can be understood and worked with.
This is why I created Astrology 101.
It is a six-week course designed to offer a clear, structured, and accessible foundation in astrology — one that allows you to begin reading charts, understanding planetary influences, and working with timing in a way that is both practical and meaningful. You do not need prior experience. You simply need a willingness to learn.
If you’ve felt the pull to understand astrology but didn’t know where to begin, this is a place to start.
